Our Projects
Sustainable initiatives creating lasting change in communities across The Gambia.
Making a Difference in The Gambia
NordBridge Aid operates primarily in The Gambia, West Africa, one of the smallest and most densely populated countries on the continent. Despite its warm people and rich culture, The Gambia faces significant challenges in healthcare, education, and economic development.
Our projects are designed in partnership with local communities to ensure they areculturally appropriate, sustainable, and impactful. We focus on building capacity so communities can continue to thrive long after our direct support concludes.

Current Projects
Each project is designed to address specific community needs while building long-term self-reliance.

WellSpring
Combating erratic rainfall in the Upper River Region with sustainable, solar-powered water supply. WellSpring protects groundnut and maize harvests through efficient irrigation, and keeps cattle and small livestock alive through the dry season with dedicated water points and fodder storage, safeguarding both food and family income.

Healthcare Access
Improving access to quality healthcare in rural Gambian communities through mobile clinics, medical supply distribution, community health worker training, and maternal care programs. Our clinics serve thousands of patients who previously had no access to medical facilities.

Education Programs
Providing quality education through scholarships, school supply distribution, teacher training, and community learning centers. Special focus on girls' education and early childhood development to break the cycle of poverty through knowledge.

Community Development
Empowering communities through capacity building, leadership training, sustainable agriculture support, and economic empowerment programs. We help communities develop the skills and infrastructure they need to become self-sustaining.
